Manychat Notifications

If you are using Manychat to help you with your Facebook Messenger marketing, you are probably getting amazing results.

But you might want to know the results in real time instead of waiting for reports to come in.

Today I am going to show you how to get notifications in real time so not only you know when results come in, but your colleagues do too!

What is a Manychat Notification?

A Manychat Notification can be attached after any Manychat Message or Condition that will email you or message you on Facebook with a custom message that you decide on.

For example, if someone enters their email address on an input field, then you can attach a Next Step to be a Manychat Notification that automatically emails you and/or messages you to tell you that a person entered their email address.

You can even be specific and unique for each notification by adding dynamic fields. You can add the full name of the person, any of their custom fields, and more:

This example shows a notification I made everytime someone validates (aka redeems, uses, etc) a coupon.

How To Implement A Manychat Notification

If you want to get notifications like that, you can add a next step after any button click, action etc.

Once you add the next, step, you can create an action and add an action. Then you can choose Notify Admins:

After you add the Notify Admins action, you can see some options on how you can customize the notification:

You can customize the notification text and add any dynamic field(s) int here. You can also add the ‘View in Live Chat’ button which will add a button to the notification. When pressed, the button will take you straight into the Manychat conversation.

You can also choose to send the notification to the whole team, any individuals and by Facebook Messenger, SMS or email. Pretty nifty!

I use this every time I am setting up a new flow and want to monitor the activity on the flow to make sure it is working and working correctly.
