If you are using Google Sheets to record data from Facebook Messenger conversations using Manychat, you might notice that Manychat doesn’t write to Google Sheets for every record, or it may have entirely stopped recording.
I have experienced the same thing especially before I was set on what I wanted my Google Sheet columns to be in my Google Sheets CRM template.
At first I thought that I was recording too many entries into Google Sheets. Manychat does have a suggested limit of 250 requests per 100 seconds.
However I checked to see if I was hitting the limit by recording to a different tab in my Google Sheets file. Turned out it was still recording so I wasn’t hitting my limit.
Then I wrote in to support to ask what was going on.
They asked me to refresh my Google Sheet permissions and refresh the columns for the Google Sheets actions. That didn’t work either.
I also went to their Google Sheets troubleshooting page and went through all the possibilities, but nothing worked.
So my last resort was to recreate the Google Sheet and that fixed everything.
