If you are using cPanel to host your email addresses, you may notice that people have told you they sent you emails but you haven’t received them yet.
Usually, this happens when you are checking your cPanel email with Outlook or Gmail.
Both of those platforms usually pull emails from your email server only every couple of hours.
Today I am going to show you how to receive your emails immediately after they hit your inbox.
Use Email Account Forwarders In cPanel
First, login to your cPanel.
You can login either through your host or through a URL if you know your cPanel’s URL.
When you are logged in to cPanel, search “forwarders” in the search bar and click on “Forwarders.”
Once you are in, you can click on “Add Forwarder” to add your first forwarding email address.
cPanel will then ask you to type in the email you want to forward. This is the email address you will be forwarding from.
Then, it will ask you which email address you want to forward to. You want to forward to an email address which has an inbox like Gmail or Yahoo.
After you are done, click on “Add Forwarder” and the forwards should start happening.
You can test the forwarder by emailing your email address that is hosted on cPanel.
